After School Programmes

After-school Enrichment Courses at Kay-Billie-Klaer are designed to provide children with enjoyable and educational experiences in the arts, the sciences, and athletics. These programmes are also provided to assist children with the skills they need to complete their genius projects.

The courses are aimed at a variety of age and interest levels. The courses are taught by Kay-Billie-Klaer teachers and other experienced professionals. Most courses meet 1 or 2 hours weekly, for an 8 – 12 week period each term, depending on the school term and holidays. Most courses are held to a maximum of 25 students.

There are many intrinsic benefits of learning to play a musical instrument, especially as part of a concert band. Students feel the rewards of joy, wonder and camaraderie when learning to play musical instruments.

Students at Kay-Billie-Klaer International School have the opportunity to learn a concert band instrument from 4 years onwards.

Music Tutors
We are blessed with a range of skilled private music teachers. Students are taught for one-hour sessions after school, usually on Fridays.

At the Primary level, Kay-Billie-Klaer runs an integration of the Cambridge and National curriculum. Students are challenged to learn by doing, and the school takes full advantage of its location to immerse students in a well-grounded primary education that makes them compete with confidence anywhere.

At the Secondary level, students choose either the Cambridge pathway to write the IGCSEs and A Levels, OR the GES pathway to write the BECE.

The academic year commences in September and ends in July.
