Cadets are never obligated to join the military. However, the uniform, military customs and courtesies, and drills and ceremonies are essential features of cadet life that contribute to individual self-discipline.
Genius hour is an after-school programme that allows students to explore their passions and encourages creativity. It provides students with a choice in what they learn.
Students get the chance to develop unique projects geared toward solving problems in our community.
At the end of every school term, students share their projects with our community in an exhibition.

All members are trained in the four linked disciplines of literature and debate. In literature, members are exposed to all three literary genres; prose, poetry and drama. In debate, all members go through training on how to formulate and present arguments in response to assigned motions. They also trained members to take on responsibilities as facilitators and lead committee and sub-committee leaders.
In the Agric Scholars club, pupils learn and engage in animal and crop production. They plant trees and nature them, rear animals and learn how to care for them. They also learn about horticulture and flora.
The French club ensures that every member is trained to speak and write French correctly. This also involves the skills for creatively writing poems and also producing plays in French.
They also train members for external competitions like Épelle-le. They organise educational trips to francophone countries where members of the club get the opportunity to have a taste of the francophone culture. This helps the members communicate easily since they hear the language being spoken to and with them almost daily.
JETS are Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists. These young and excited students desire to solve problems with their ingenious ideas. They learn how to develop problem-solving skills and engineering ethics. Also, they manufacture cars, cranes, and pulleys, design websites and use 3D printing for construction.
